beu - You've obviously never heard of "Don't judge a book by it's cover." People don't play the game 'box art.'

Also, these games were received well yet they had terrible box art:
LfD2
Ico
Batham Arkham City GOTY edition
Okami
Mass Effect 2
and many more...

You'd win by a mile with your stupid comment. Nice try though.

Everyone who knows about this game will still get it. Last I checked, the box art is unplayable.

Pork:

"and it appears that the developer retains ownership of the intellectual property for its games — otherwise, Sony would have to agree to the PC versions."

Vega - Agreed. It's not a problem for people who already have the console to just pay for the game.

You're proved the reason why PC gamers are elitist.

Pork - Quantic Dreams doesn't need consent to use their own engine and publish their own game.

This game is using Sony tech so they are the rightful owners. If you really want this game, ask for a different engine.

Vega - $380 is on a console is nothing. A console can play games out of the box. PCs however need to be upgraded every 2 or 3 years. A price of a CPU or GPU can get you console and maybe 3 games.

If that's not a deal, I don't know what is.

Thing is, console mods are very restricted so your argument is pretty moot.

No gaming community is more toxic than the PC crowd. Dota2, LoL, CSGO, Overwatch, Apex Legends etc to name a few are some of the top games on PC and there's bound to be flaming each game. Console, I can play a few games of Overwatch before I'm harassed by some pubescent child

And finally as for hacking on consoles. No, just no. Hacks on consoles are pretty much non-existen...

Err.

1. Quantic Dream used their own proprietary engine.
2. Quantic Dream is a third-party developer.

This is a completely different situation.

2422d ago 13 agree1 disagreeView comment

Modified sure. But you agree they use the assets of the engine yes? Unmodified or not, they're still using Decima engine which Sony has ownership of.

You want this game on PC? Use a different engine.

2422d ago 9 agree3 disagreeView comment

Don't be silly. You seriously can't believe Kojima Productions or any other publisher can publish this game on PC without having some sort of consent from Sony.

Decima is mostly a Sony engine and if they were to release this on Steam, do you think they are willing to give up 30% of their total revenue? Publishing on Epic Games store and Origin is out of the question.

The older demographic sure love their:

-Nude mods
-Toxic community
-Online hacking

Do continue.

Name 1 game Guerilla Games released on PC since Sony bought them.

You can't.

People begging for this may as well beg for Horizon and Killzone.

2423d ago 8 agree6 disagreeView comment

The people that are supporting this are most likely the same folks that enjoyed Advent Children and fapped over Tifa and Aerith. They wouldn't of had played the original FF7 either because it didn't age very well.

Shh... people will still pay for this overpriced piece of nostalgia.

2431d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

You've obviously never played FF tactics before.

As my previous comment, reading responses like yours is fun.

Sheep will still buy this game. They don't care.

Lol the replies I get when I diss games. Wow this game must be life affecting it seems.

Episodic content still can't fix this uninteresting plot.

2443d ago 0 agree6 disagreeView comment

The plot is still terrible. Pass.
